Rhyming Tuesday - The End?

Every week these stupid poems I would write
A couple even had things hidden from sight
And some I had to revise just to be polite.
Sometimes my heart and brain would fight
As I would give glimpses into my plight.
I hope they brought some form of delight
Yet I ask have these entries become trite?
Taking a break at this point just feels right
Perhaps someday I return to post on this site
Until then, I bid my friends a very good night.

i'm reluctant to say, but i think i just might / that your writing has always made my day bright / one shouldn't jump from such a high height / unless he or she has wings for flight / otherwise one will probably die, or get hurt very badly...

sometimes we all need a break. michael jordan took 2 seasons off, yet still came back to dominate the game he couldn't separate himself from. but then sports are just for those who can't cut it in the geek, drama or motorhead world...

I'd love to be able to track how many minutes a day you spend putting together those poems. I bet by the end of your life, you'll have spent at least a year of your life on those things.

Poets and writers need a break every once in awhile! Hope you come back with some great entries! I've been considering taking a break myself- now that school is back on again I just don't have much time to think up anything good lately!
